Developer

Gabriela Sebastian is a college freshman seeking a bachelors in Computer Science. She is a part of FIU’s Society of Hispanic Engineers and their Google Developers Student Club. Her skills include Html, CSS, JavaScript, and Swift. Her goal is to be able to use her skills and passion for technology to help solve issues around the world and inspire other women to pursue a career in STEM.

Lead Engineer

Brelbi Golam is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He is skilled in Java and a strong engineering professional at Amazon with a Master of Science (M.S.) focused in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.

Developer 

Anthony Parra is a senior in the IB program in DBHS. During high school, he has been an active participant in the key club, mao, debate, and the Broward Center for the performing arts where he volunteers in helping children for arts and crafts and other activities. (More specifically they’re called Family Fun events) Outside of that, he has learned coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and currently is learning Java. His future career aspiration is within the realm of economics and technology 

Mentor and Developer

Ana Sofia (she/her) is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame majoring in Computer Science. She is from Miami, FL and is currently working on an app that creates safe running routes! Ana was a 2020 Kode With Klossy App Development instructor's assistant and a 2019 Web Development program alum. Ana is passionate about Women/Latinx in STEM and is very excited to be a part of the DecodeMe Hackathon.

Speaker

Samantha Konigsberg is 20 and attending Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate degree. She is majoring in psychology and double minoring in Computer Science and Human Computer Interaction. Born in NYC, her passion for technology started in 8th grade. Throughout high school she developed an app called inVISABLE, aiming to connect the chronically ill community. Samantha hopes to continue using CS for social good causes

Hello world! My name is Carina Torre helping others explore the world of coding is one of my favorite things. I’ve helped start two coding clubs for young girls and been a Kode with Klossy fellow for 2 years. My favorite pastimes are rollerskating, writing, and skiing.
